Ute Günther believes, without reservation, that good design changes lives. Cluttered spaces drain energy. Thoughtful ones restore it. Every project she touches is shaped by that conviction.
Her hospitality work speaks for itself. She completed the full interior remodel of a three-Michelin-star restaurant and hotel — alone, during the pandemic, on a compressed timeline. She designed 30 rooms at Posthotel Alexander Herrmann, including AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz (two Michelin stars), the kitchen school, entrances, and protected historic facade. A family extension she designed won a Schöner Wohnen competition.
Before founding her own studio she spent her formative years with Gensler in San Francisco, Clodagh in New York City, and Backen Gillam in Sausalito — three of the most respected design practices in America. Each shaped her eye, her standards, and her instinct for what makes a space feel truly alive.
She now works remotely with vacation rental owners, boutique hotel operators, and property investors across Europe and internationally — delivering complete spatial intelligence from concept through procurement, without construction liability or studio overhead.
